Ryan is more known for his womanizing ways and playboy persona than his successful business. He’s a notorious bad boy that a normal PR company won’t touch with a ten foot pole. He has a chip on his shoulder and an ego bigger than Manhattan. Not to mention the man has seen her naked. What’s a girl to do? Give it her all, duh!

As with the predecessors, this was a ridiculously fun novella. The sparks are immediate between Penelope and Ryan and only burn hotter and hotter with each new interaction. I loved Ryan’s dirty mouth and Penelope’s smart one. This was a shorty but a goodie. I’d have loved an epilogue to really seal the deal here, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Having been a huge fan of this author for years, this is just a small taste of all the awesome that is her HOT series. Don’t let the series number intimidate you because this is easily read as a standalone. Neither of the MCs ever made an appearance before this book so you won’t be lost on any of the backstory.

This novella is a crossover of Harris’s HOT series set inside Liliana Hart’s MacKenzie family world. Liliana is an author I haven’t read yet and I fully intend to rectify this immediately, as well as reading the rest of the crossover novellas that are a part of this.

As for the story, it’s a quickie but no less potent. Lynn Raye Harris manages to pack in just enough character development along her typical heart pounding suspense and wrap it all around a sizzling romance. The end result is one sexy romantic suspense novella.

Jake Ryan is a member of the elite HOT team. But that wasn’t always the case. Years ago he was on the opposite end of the law as a Brothers of Sin Motorcycle Club member. The military saved him and the HOT team has become his new family. Now he’s been assigned to infiltrate his old gang to save a woman caught in the middle…a woman with plenty of secrets of her own.

Eva and Jake were perfect together. There’s just enough sexual tension to truly skyrocket their chemistry. Eva is exactly the heroine I’ve come to expect from this author; strong and willful. She may be a virgin because she’s dedicated herself to her revenge and love has never entered the equation…until Jake.

If you’re looking for a hot read to spend the afternoon with that will give you a perfect taste of the talent of this author, I can’t recommend this enough. Prepare yourself to binge on her entire HOT series after. Don’t say I didn’t warn you 😉

She never fails to disappoint with witty banter, a fun enemies to lovers vibe, plenty of development to connect you to the characters in a few short pages, and enough sizzle to set your kindle on fire.

Dirty Doctor was a book that I devoured over my morning coffee in one delicious sitting. I couldn’t put it down until I finished. And now for something you’ll never hear another woman say EVER, I was extremely satisfied for the short size that this was. Yeah. I said it.

Conversing through an anonymous professional dating site, D-Doctor and JerseyGirl7 have been going back and forth with innocent flirting. She tells him about her horrible dates, and he gets the witty interaction that he’s missing in his daily life. Doctor Garrett is too hot for his own good. He’s too focused on his job to date seriously and with the amount of female patients throwing themselves at him isn’t exactly appealing. But when his anonymous online chat buddy finally agrees to meet him for a date and then stands him up, he’s not exactly thrilled. And then he gets a distractingly gorgeous new resident…who come to find out is the sexy little flirt that stood him up. And now he’s determined that he’ll have her…no matter how much she may deny wanting him.

I loved the slow burn between Garrett and Natalie. Their witty banter with a heavy underlay of lust was perfectly paced. I thought my ovaries may explode if they didn’t do it soon. And when they finally did?
I also loved that we got an epilogue with this book to tie things up perfectly. That’s the only thing I thought was missing for me with the previous installment Naughty Boss and I was thrilled we got one here. If you’re looking for a fun and sexy shortie to spend a steamy afternoon with, you can’t go wrong with this one.

And by it, I mean the book. Where did your mind go, dirty bird? But I digress.

I will tell you nothing of the book. NOTHING. One, because I’m evil like that. And two, because I don’t want to spoil a thing for you. But what I will tell you is that if this doesn’t whet your appetite for Shaw and Willow’s story, roll over, you’re dead. You’d have to be not to be an angsty, salivating, crazed and sexually frustrated mess at the end of this little tease. And that’s what it is. A DAMN TEASE. But damn, it hurt SO GOOD. Now bring on the book before I hurt someone here!!!!

It’s official. I’m naming my left ovary Michael. He totally owns it so it’s only right. Whitney G already owns my right one, so I figure it’s fitting.

This was a fun sized bite of Whitney’s usual brand of snarky and steamy enemies to lovers trope. It’s a read in on sitting type of story and the perfect way to pay a cold weekday night with. Don’t expect much character development here because that’s not what it is. It’s a super fun and super steamy hot, manwhore, millionaire boss falls for his sassy assistant story. Michael is an uber successful CEO of a publishing house. The only thing he goes through quicker than his one night stands are his executive assistants, because while he may be ridiculously sexy and rich, he also happens to be a bear to work for. In other words, the man is an a-hole.

Mya has lasted longer working for the man than any other assistant he’s ever had, but it hasn’t been an easy road. The man is demanding, rude, and much to her dismay still gets her engine revving. One email ending up in the wrong inbox finally leads to a break in the super thick sexual tension they got going between them and BAM! Fireworks.

I love Whitney’s books because she always delivers on one of my favorite tropes; enemies to lovers. She brings the snark, the humor, the sass, and the steam all in one extremely fun read. There’s nothing I love more than an alphahole…except maybe a reformed manwhore alphahole. So of course I loved Michael. Mya was sassy and smart and gave as good as she got. I loved these two together.

My one complaint is that super abrupt and I mean ABRUBT ending. It came out of nowhere. I kept scrolling hoping for more, but alas that was all she wrote…pun intended. I get that I’m reading a novella, but I think an epilogue would have been a good way to wrap it up for me.

That aside, I still enjoyed this book quite a bit and can’t wait for more from Whit!

I have no idea why I thought this novella would be a prequel, so don’t ask me. But boy was I pleasantly surprised that it turned out to be a fully finished romance with a HEA that perfectly kicked off a series that I already know I’m going to love! It’s rare that I’d read a novella that’s under 100 pages that would leave me this satisfied and have such fantastic character development, and I’m not surprised that it came from the fabulous Lauren Layne

Nothing had burned hotter than him and Leah together. And nothing had been quite so cold as the year that followed, when Leah had iced him out of her life entirely.

From This Day Forward is a sweet and sexy second chance romance. Leah McHale and Jason Rhodes had a blossoming relationship a year ago, until Jason broke Leah’s heart and caused her to run.

This was the perfect little taste to set the tone of the series and I loved it to pieces. It had just the right amount of romance, steam and story to make for one ridiculously satisfying read. It introduced a few secondary characters that I can’t wait to get the story for and I simply can’t wait for the rest of this series.

He was a bag of lies and half-truths and she was without counterfeit. There could have been a hundred women sitting at this bar and he would have only seen her and the brilliant truth of her.

Can you write a heartfelt and poignant story full of steam and emotion in under 70 pages? If you’re Molly O’Keefe not only can you, but you do it effortlessly. The Heart of It is a must read for any fans of this author. It’s captivating and erotic; full of feeling and emotion. It’s short but satisfying and yet still left me craving more; not because it was lacking, but because I just didn’t want it to end. I don’t believe I’ve ever rated a novella so highly in all my reading experience. Not only am I rating it for the wonderful story, but the mere fact that the author managed to pack in as much development and emotion as she did in these few short pages.

The characters are so well developed they practically leap from the pages. Considering the subject matter it touches on, I was blown away at just how much this author accomplished with just 67 pages. It’s a beautiful story of healing. A story of meeting that one person that finally changes everything. Elena and Gabe couldn’t be more different. Heck, they practically live on opposite ends of the world for all the differences between them. A high class escort and a successful author of children’s books that’s haunted by the demons of his past share an experience together that irrevocably changes them both.

Miss O’Keefe does an incredible job laying the foundation of a truly broken man for the readers. Gabe is no perfect in any means even while he may live the picture perfect life on the outside. He’s a man with a past that won’t let go of his present. He’s a man that hopes to find some solace in the arms of a beautiful escort if only for one night. I loved how endearing his imperfections came across. You can’t help but fall for him and want to heal all his emotional scars. He was this gentle giant that was just perfectly imperfect. Elena has scars of her own from the past, but she’s a heroine I connected with right away. She’s strong in an understated way. She doesn’t flaunt herself, but she owns her sexuality. Both of these characters were simply refreshing in their originality.

What a wonderful treat the author has written for her fans. I only wish it was longer.

If you haven’t read anything by Molly O’Keefe yet, but enjoy novellas by Cara McKenna and Anne Calhoun, this is an author you’ll want to check out. Trust me on that.

Can you get a highly satisfying and enjoyable steamy romance in just a short 120 pages? In the case of this book; also-fucking-lutely. There’s a reason I’ve read practically every book in Lorelei’s backlist and this book is the perfect example why. It’s wonderfully smutty but with a great story and fantastic characters. I love this author’s dirty talking cowboys, and Wynton Grant was utter perfection.

If you haven’t read the rest of the Blacktop Cowboys series, I highly recommend you do simply because it’s fantastic. But if you’re thinking of starting with this one to get a taste for it, you can easily do that to since it does read well as a standalone. So what does this book have?

1. An awesome heroine that owns her sexuality and isn’t ashamed of her sexual history. This is a woman that enjoys sex for sex’s sake. How amazingly refreshing and rare to find in most romances these days. I loved Melissa. She’s certainly no blushing virgin, but she was never brash. She was such a fun heroine to read about.

2. A hot as sin cowboy. pervy swoon. Gawd but I loved him.

3. Super hot cowboy lovin’. No one writes the sexy times quite like Lorelei James and you’ll get no complaints from this pervert reader.

4. A great story. In just a few pages the author managed to pack in a great story. It wasn’t just sex and I loved all the secondary characters. Dare I hope that we’ll soon be getting a book for Sres and Mick? *waggles brows*

In short, I love it. If you’re a fan of this author, this is a no-brainer must read. And if you haven’t discovered her yet, this is the perfect book to start with. Short, sexy, and fun. What else can you possibly ask for?

My mind loves Ben. My heart loves Be. My body loves Ben. He’s the warmth in my blood. The roar of my pulse.

First of all, if you’re reading this as a standalone, how dare you?! If you haven’t yet met Officer Ben “OMG Nine Inches” Kelly in Where I Belong, you read right this second! Right now, you hears me?! FFS! LOL! But if you want to seriously miss out, you can also read this as a standalone. But why would you? I’d highly recommend reading the whole series in order so you may truly appreciate all the secondary characters that make an appearance here like; Tessa and Luke, Reed and Beth, CJ and Riley.

You know when you create the perfect cake and it’s already multi-layered and filled with yummy deliciousness? But then you go and add this even better icing ON TOP of the cake and it just makes everything that much better? That’s what Where We Belong was to Where I Belong. It was the perfect extended epilogue that I was craving when I finished Where I Belong. There was no drama, unnecessary angst, stupid miscommunication, NOTHING of that sort.
WWB teaser- Dirty Girl RomanceWhere We Belong gave the reader a wonderfully realistic relationship progression for a couple that still can’t get enough of each other and I can’t get enough of. While Reed is still my number one in this series, Officer Ben Kelly is certainly no hardship…with his nine inches and all…to read about. I adore him and Mia together, I adore their cute little cockblockers…erm…kids, and I adore the relationships they have with their friends.

We choose to believe what we want to believe. I choose Ben. He is my truth.

While there was no drama here, there was a hell of a lot of sexual frustration. I swear to gawd, I actually wanted to message J. Daniels to let her know my ovaries were going on strike if Ben didn’t finally give Mia the D. It hurt, people! Hurt so bad! They’d get so close to doing it and then BAM! Interruption. I swear it made me question having a second kid myself because I felt their pain so bad LOL! It was as hilarious as it was frustrating. I was also glad to see the closure to Ben and Angie that I felt missing in the first book. I was happy to see that the author addressed that here.

If you’ve been wanting a peek at CJ’s story, J gives a hell of a teaser here. And by hell of a teaser, I mean it felt like that masochist dangles a carrot in front of rabid fucking bunnies! I am foaming at the mouth for his book and this only served as making me even more crazed for it.

I can’t recommend this book enough for fans of this series. Think of it as that bonus extended epilogue for a fantastic fucking couple.
