PW: Thanks so much for having me!!!! <3

DGR: I suppose we can start by having you introduce yourself to readers that may not be familiar with your work yet. (If such a thing is even possible)

PW: Sure, I’m an author that loves to twist people’s conception of right and wrong, show the light in the dark, and beneath all the angst and suspense deliver a romance that tugs on their heart strings long after the last page.

DGR: I have never fallen as hard for a secondary character as I did for Kill in Third Debt. Did you know at the beginning of that series that you’ll be giving him a book?

PW: Yay!! I’m so glad. Yes, I did. At that point, I’d already written Ruin & Rule so I knew him well.

DGR: You’ve written some of my favorite anti-heroes, yet they’re all so unique in their own way. What makes Arthur Killian unique for you?

PW: He’s tortured but very strong. He’s also beyond stubborn—sometimes in good ways but sometimes in bad too.

DGR: If made into a movie, who would be your dream cast for Arthur and Cleo?

PW: I struggle with this question so much. Arthur is unique for me and Cleo is her own person. I don’t know. If you do…please let me know who you would choose.

DGR: Having read your entire backlist, I can say that Ruin & Rule was easily my favorite book of yours. What was your favorite part about writing this story?

PW: Thanks so much! Um, I just loved the give and take and fiery relationship between Cleo and Kill. Loved that part.

DGR: What would you say was the most difficult?

PW: Probably the MC world as I’m not that averse in it and Kill’s involvement was different than other biker books out there.

DGR: Can you describe Arthur for us in 5 words or less?

PW: Deep loving, protective, ruthless and kind.

DGR: I love how you’re able to give your readers dark stories with anti-heroes and yet make them redeemable but without making them lose their edge. What would you say is Arthur’s biggest edge?

PW: His love for Cleo. For sure.

DGR: Now what about his weaknesses?

PW: His love for Cleo. It’s a total double edged sword.

DGR: Lets talk Cleo for a bit. Your heroines are no whimpering wallflowers. They have backbones but in a very understated way. I have to say that’s one of my favorite things about reading your books, watching those backbones come out more and their growth throughout the story. Cleo was unique because she has no memory of her previous life in the first book. Was that difficult to write without giving anything away?

PW: That’s so nice of you. Thanks! Yes and no. I loved the veil between what she knew and didn’t. It was a harrowing thought to lose everything you hold dear and loved ones have become strangers. Must be awful.

DGR: What would you say is your favorite part or trait of Cleo?

PW: Her strength to keep going, even when she didn’t know who she was.

DGR: Can you describe Cleo for us in 5 words or less?

PW: Tenacious, brave, suspicious, emotionally and physically scarred.

DGR: Ruin & Rule was a heck of a ride. What can readers expect from Sin & Suffer?

PW: A lot of loose ends being tied up, a love story that defies age and time and memory and consequences of actions for those who deserve to be paid back.

DGR: I love that your stories pack just as much emotion into them as they do grit and angst, what feelings are you hoping to instill in readers with Sin & Suffer?

PW: I hope they feel the love story and conviction of self thanks to Art and Cleo’s connection.

DGR: Without spoilers, can you give us a little taste of what we can expect from Sin & Suffer?

PW: Not really as everything I want to say is a spoiler. All I can say is I love the ending to Sin & Suffer and hope the readers do too 🙂

DGR: Anything you’d like to leave the readers with?

PW: A mega thank you for having me and for reading my work. You’re all amazing and I could never do this without you. xx

Oh Danny boy, how I’ve missed you. So much so, that I savored this book as much as I could. See I have a sentimental attachment to this series. Beyond Eden was the very first book I read by Kele Moon and what ultimately began my ~~obsession~~ appreciation of her work.

First of all, if you’re planning on reading this as a standalone: STOP. Don’t do yourself or the story a disservice and read it in order. While the release dates show one thing, the recommended reading order per the story’s timeline is this:
1. Finding Eden– Danny & Paul
2. Claiming Eden– Danny & Paul
3. Beyond Eden– Danny, Paul & Eve

Claiming Eden is not quite a romance. That will come in Beyond Eden. Claiming Eden is the continuation of Danny and Paul’s growth as a couple and individuals. If you didn’t love Danny boy before (which is basically impossible), you’ll seriously fall for him here.

This is more about Danny’s journey than about Paul’s. It’s Danny’s struggle to be a true Master to Paul, who he considers the love of his life. He doesn’t know how to deal with Paul’s desires for pain. He’s terrified that he doesn’t know when a line is crossed because Paul truly has no hard limits when it comes down to it. Danny will do anything for Paul, so he seeks out a professional Domme to train him. Only problem is the Domme, Circe, is none too eager to take him on.

Danny is struggling with his role as a Dom/Master. Paul is struggling with his sexuality and his very strict family while he’s still in college. And Danny and Paul together? *pervy shiver* Yeah. It’s hot as hell. If there’s one thing that Kele Moon can write, it’s one hell of a hot love scene. But this book is so much more than just hot sex. It’s emotional, it’s truly a multifaceted journey. The writing is sensual with a touch of taboo and it hit every single one of my yes boxes.

I loved the addition of Circe and Jason in this one, even though I was desperate for more details on them. I would have loved more of that, but it also would have distracted from the rest of the story, so I can see why it was the way it was.

I’m almost sad to see this series come to an end. As I started with Beyond Eden, it was like going back in time to see how all of this began. I think I would have loved to read it in timeline order, so that’s the recommendation I’d make to readers that haven’t read these books yet. It does have a somewhat heavy element of BDSM in terms of Paul and Danny’s kinks, but it doesn’t go too much into detail as to make someone that’s not comfortable with heavy BDSM have issues. It’s just enough to entice.

There was something primal about the way he felt with her. It was unreasonable. Irrational. And he didn’t fucking care, because that feeling was so good, the only thing that mattered was making sure he got more.

Confession time: the only thing I remember from Touch & Go is that it made me fall in love with this author and this series and made me want Ford’s book desperately. But that’s it. Damn my puny brain memory because I couldn’t even tell you what it was about Ford that intrigued me. All I knew is that I needed to have this book. So when I saw the synopsis and realized that not only am I getting his book but it’s a second chance romance?
After the game he designed, Ford’s career blew up. After being burned by people that are interested only in his success and money, Ford is weary about who he lets in. The while out at a bar one night, he spots the girl that’s always held his heart…even though she was also the one that shattered it back in college.

Brynn Ahearn never got over Ford but he’ll never know the truth of why she left if she could help it. One night of passion with the love of her life can’t hurt, right? Something she can store in her memory banks for years to come…too bad Ford is determined on not settling for anything less than her whole heart.

Now and Then was a wonderfully steamy of second chances and forgiveness. You know the secret that Brynn is hiding that’s keeping her from going for it with Ford, but Ford is left in the dark until mainly the end. While I can understand Brynn’s thinking and sympathize with it, I did find myself wishing at times she would at least come clean with Ford. Though Ford was a bit secretive about a few things about himself to be fair.

The story is great and with just enough feeling to it so it’s not fluffy. Yet it’s not quite intense either. It’s one of those light and easy reads that also packs on a little bit of feels and a whole lot of steam and it was exactly what I was looking for. If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly recommend it. You really can’t go wrong. Mira Lyn Kelly knows how to give good romance.

The hiss of hydraulics and stomp of many feet did not bode well.

I closed my eyes. “Shit.”

“What?”

“Please don’t be what I think it is.”

“What?”

A trio of people in black shirts with our new album on the front were standing in front of a huge bus. “Can you run in those things?”

She looked affronted. “I can do anything in heels.”

“I hope so.”

A woman in her twenties pointed our way. “Is that him?” she shrieked.

“Fan club.”

“What?”

“This is where the fan club bus is parked.”

“They should be at dinner. Why aren’t they at dinner?” Kenny asked with rising panic.

“Guess it’s over.” I sprinted to the door we’d just come out of. “Son of a bitch.” I twisted the handle but nothing. “It must have locked after us.”

She slapped the keypad. “Ya think?”

“Not helping.” I darted a look past the bus, along with the line of at least seventy people lined up to board. Definitely couldn’t go that way.

“They’ll eat you alive.”

“No kidding.”

Three women broke off from the crowd and headed our way. As soon as they did, twenty more followed. I dragged Kenny with me to the front of the bus and around the side. The bus driver looked down at us and shook his head.

No help there.

The people that had boarded the bus were pointing at us as we ran to the other end. I shot by another line of cars and zig-zagged around another bus and saw a familiar logo. “Thank God.”

“Where did he go?” Came shouts that were way too close.

“Where are we going?” she hissed.

“My bus.”

“Your bus?”

I dragged her behind me as I ducked behind a black truck we used for our equipment. It has been a stripped down stage, but we still had a lot of instruments between Keys’s pianos, the entire percussion set up that Wyatt used, all the guitars, amps, and digital network we used—we needed a truck no matter what.

“New plan.” I unlatched the back of the rig and lifted the rolling door. “Get in.”

“Are you freaking kidding me?”

I stared down at her. “Does it look like I’m kidding?”

She groaned. “I can’t get up there.”

I lifted her until her knee was on the base of the truck ledge. She scrambled in as the scraping of heels and running feet got closer.

“Move it, Kenny.”

Her skirt rode up as she dragged herself inside. I threw her a soft whistle. She turned back to me with murder in her eyes. I squashed down a laugh, rolling in after her, tugging the door down behind me with a bang.

“I hate you.”

I just smiled into the dark.

Yeah, I had a pretty big cock, but that wasn’t all I was, goddamit.
I cleared my throat. “Could I get my sunglasses?”
The woman behind the counter flushed. “Sorry. What number did you leave it under?”
“Eleven.” Inches. For my cock.

Manaconda was exactly the kind of sexy, fluffy and humorous interlude that I needed in my reading. Admittedly, I was looking forward to a full standalone, but considering that the conclusion will be released on January 26 for free, it lessens the sting considerably. As for the book? Well I read it in one sitting, so what does that tell you?

Mana-fucking-conda. Minus the fucking in the middle, plus a few extra millimeters at the tip. Hey, gotta finish strong, right? Or start, depending where you believed the male member actually began.

Thanks to a Rolling Stone cover that every rockstar dreams about gracing the cover of, Hunter Jordan is famous for a whole lot than being the lead singer of Hammered. His…uhem…quite large appendage…seems to be all anyone can talk about thanks to the unfortunate bunching of his jeans and revealing his male ‘gift’ to the entire world. But Hunter isn’t exactly happy about it. He’s more than his cock, dammit. Even if it is a VERY impressive one.

Kennedy McManus is the band’s new PR that’s set to work specifically with him after the cover imploded on magazine stands everywhere. Sparks fly between them immediately and it doesn’t take long at all for things to really get rolling…

After. I want you after. In my room.” His voice lowered until it was only a grumbling bass of sound. “All of this off. All of you- mine.”

Now usually an insta-lust like this doesn’t work for me. But something about the one here just did it for me. I bought it; hook, line and sinker. It was just too delicious not to. It’s fluffy in a guilty pleasure read sort of way and it just worked.

And when these two get together? Holy ovary CUMbustion!

Then his mouth moved to mine and swallowed the screams I didn’t know were rolling out of me. His, mine, ours- didn’t matter. There was a supernova trapped inside of me with no way out.
Something had to break.

My only quibble is that I wished it would have been a longer standalone, but that’s because I’m a self professed cliffy avoider. True story. These authors are the only ones that can even pull that off with me and only because I love every single thing they write. Even with the cliffy, I gobbled this up like the starved smut addict that I am and loved every sinfully sexy page of it. Now I’m looking forward to the conclusion and luckily I don’t have to wait long at all.

From the second I read the blurb to Outside The Lines I was hooked. I knew I had to read. You see, I have this obsession with mafia romances. As in, I can’t ever pass one up. And having loved Lisa’s A Little Too Far series, adding this one was a no brainer.

The premise of the book is fantastic. Robert “Rob” Delgado is the oldest son of a Chicago crime lord. When a rivalry with another mafia family finally overbuilds with a hit gone wrong against Rob and his four siblings, his father takes a plea bargain in order to get them WITSEC. Now Rob finds himself at a backwater Florida town, still plotting revenge against those that betrayed their family. The only problem is finding out who they are first.

Adri Wilson has grown up in the small little town. Her father is the sheriff (enter super delicious set up of boy on the wrong side of the law falling for the sheriff’s daughter) and a fourth grade teacher who happens to have Rob’s youngest brother in her class. Robert draws her in straight away. There’s something about him, something behind those unreadable eyes that intrigues her. She wants to help him. She wants to help his siblings. But before she does all that, she needs to find out the truth he’s hiding behind all his lies.

This book had such strong potential that got lost somewhere between all the mundane details. After the first 15%, I found my interest steadily waning until I was almost ready to give up by the halfway point. Luckily it does pick up, but not enough to really raise my rating.

There’s a lot of day to day activity, description, and just mundane detail that takes away from the story. It could have easily been cut out and not effected the book any in my opinion. The characters were in their head a little too much for my tastes and it also took much too long for Robert to come to his senses with certain things. There was a scene with Rob and another woman at one point that I truly felt the story could have gone without. Particularly since this was already past the 40% mark, the only thing it did was diminish his connection with Adri for me. I don’t mind scenes with ow so long as I feel they add to the story, and it really didn’t here.

Adri was incredible naive and pure for my tastes, too. Her constant drive to fix everyone around her with no thought to her own safety didn’t do much to endear me to her. Her being a virgin on top of everything was just another added blah.

I did like the two of them together, but the sex scenes, while hot, were almost cheesy at times.

What ultimately hooked me was the set up for the rest of the siblings. While the book ends on a romance HEA between Rob and Adri, the whole who done it of the hit is still unclear and the Delgado siblings are still in WITSEC. There was a bit of a hint at a rival family’s son and Rob’s sister that I’m hoping will be getting a book. I’m also itching to get my hands on Grant’s story as well as Ulie and Lee. That alone is enough to keep me reading. Hopefully the next book will be a little quicker paced.

Outside The Lines was one of those reads that wasn’t bad and wasn’t great. It was just ok. A middle of the road kind of read if you will. I didn’t hate it, but it’s nothing I’d come back to either. I do have my hopes set on the next book because like I said, the premise of the series is truly a fantastic one.

There’s two things I’m guaranteed when I pick up another book in this fantastic series:
(1) I’m going to read it in one sitting
(2) I’m going to love every single page of it.
No really. I’m not even kidding. Ten books into the series and Lynn continues to not only maintain the mark, but exceed it with every turn. They keep getting hotter and hotter and the story lines get better and better. There’s a reason I say this series is my crack and I hope it never ends!

…you’d better be prepared- because I’m not tame, or safe- and I won’t stay within the lines.

Chase “Fiddler” Daniels has always been a great secondary character but I couldn’t wait for him to get his own book. He surely didn’t disappoint. Admittedly I was a little afraid about the whole step siblings thing, but the way that the author handled it was perfect. They obviously don’t live together, and Chase isn’t close to his father (Sophie’s step father). There’s a clear separation. And them both being adults definitely helps quite a bit.

The story itself was addictingly good. Sophie gets herself into some hot water when she realizes that the man that she was dating may be tied to Russian organized crime. To make matters even more dangerous, when she runs from him she takes something of his with her. Something that he’s willing to kill to get back. Police aren’t an option for Sophie when the man hunting her may have leverage over them, so there’s only one man she can think that will help her; Chase.

The last person Chase expected to see on his doorstep is the step sister that he hasn’t seen in over ten years. Having severed all ties with his father, he wants nothing to do with that family and that includes Sophie. But when he sees the imminent danger she’s in, he knows that he’ll do anything to protect her. He just has to make sure that he protects his heart too because the more time he spends with Sophie, the more he realizes that she draws him in in a way that he can’t deny for long.

He didn’t care if he left a mark. Hell, he wanted to leave a mark. He wanted to brand her as his for as long as he felt like this.
However long that might be.

Hot Protector was another hit. I love that Lynn is beginning to add a secondary story going with Mendez and she’s able to do that by flawlessly weaving it into the story. I also loved getting another little taste of Ian Black. I cannot wait for his book to finally come out, but I’ll take whatever scraps the author throws my way in the meantime.

This series is everything I love about Romantic Suspense. It’s an action-packed ride fused together with sizzling hot romance. It’s thrilling and erotically charged and my absolute go-to when I want a guaranteed enjoyable read and I can’t wait for more!

Each book is easily read as a standalone, so don’t be intimidated by the amount of books. However, I strongly recommend reading it in order since the entire series is fantastic!
