First of all, if you’ve read Power and Ignite then you will especially appreciate the crossover of a few characters in this book. I for one especially appreciated the closer I didn’t know I needed to Power. But I digress.
If you love the enemies to lovers vibe, age gap, and sizzling chemistry, this book will definitely hit the spot. Ammo and Courtney were incendiary together. And I’m nothing if not a fan of hate sex and these two are explosive with this. There’s a bit of a suspense layer with Courtney’s stalker which added a page turning element. Admittedly I wished we had a bit more character development to Ammo and his appeal was slightly overshadowed with plentiful sex scenes. But at the same time, I read the book in one sitting, so clearly it didn’t bother me too much. I just couldn’t help but wish I knew more about the enigma that is Ammo.
I loved the two of them together and that ending was perfection. All in all, highly recommend for any rockstar romance fans.
