I am a HUGE MC romance addict. I first fell in love with this genre when I read Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley. I’ve read my fair share of them through the years; the great, the good, and the never to be mentioned bad. Below you’ll find my list of the favorite MC books I’ve read to date. The darker and the grittier, the better 😉

Joanna Wylde’s Reapers MC series

I have yet to read a book in this series that I haven’t absolutely loved the fuck out of. Seriously. It’s THAT good. This is my auto-buy, never think twice before pre-ordering series.

Lili St Germain’s Gypsy Brothers series
You want dark, gritty, keep you on the edge of your seat kind of read? I’m talking the kind of book that will grip you by the throat and make your heart pound. The kind of book that will make you cringe, make you cry, make you rage. The kind of book that will make you want to reach through your kindle and commit murder? THIS is the series for you. Yeah. It’s that good. This series has become my crack, and I’m not sure what I’ll do once Lili finally releases One Love, the final book in the series on December 8, 2014. This is not a series for the faint of heart, so prepare yourself for one dark and fucked up ride.

Susan Fanetti’s Signal Bend series
I accidentally stumbled on this series some time last year after I realized I had gotten the first book as a freebie on Amazon. It had bikers and I was curious, so I read it…and I was blown away! This series is so incredibly well written, I can honestly tell you it’s one of the best that I’ve read to date. It’s also one of the most bittersweet and unforgettable. While the entire series consists of seven books, you’ll notice that I’m only putting five on my list (even though I read the last two). There’s a reason for that. While I absolutely loved, LOVED the first 5 books, unfortunately one event in book 6 ultimately devastated me. While it was incredibly well written, I just can’t bring myself to include it in my list because I hated what happened so much. It was heart breaking and I still can’t get over it. If you’re made of tougher stuff than me, perhaps it won’t effect you as much, in which case I’ll recommend you read it. But if you’re unsure, then at least read the first 5 books because you will definitely not regret it. It’s gritty, emotional, sexy. Pretty much everything you’re looking for in an MC series.

Madeline Sheehan’s Undeniable series
A couple years ago I read this one book. Maybe you’ve heard of it; Undeniable. Said book kept me up the whole night reading. Said book made me scream, cry, and want to tear my hair out. Said book also made me want to reach through my kindle and jock punch the hero…only to fall for him all over again in the next page. As much as I hated some events that happened in the first book, I was also hooked. Why, you may ask? Because it was real. It was gritty, and violent, and sexy, and undeniably real. Unbeautifully continues to be my favorite in the series, but I really enjoyed the other books as well. No MC Romance list would be complete without the genius that is Madeline Sheehan. Period.

Kristen Ashley’s Motorcycle Man & Own The Wind
Maybe you don’t know this, but I happen to worship at the altar of awesome that is Kristen Ahsley. If you’ve read any of her books, you’ll know exactly why. And if you haven’t, you need to crawl out from under that rock you’ve been living under and READ it. I’ve read this woman’s entire backlist (excessive as it is). If you want unapologetic alpha heroes that are as domineering and protective as they are loving, this is the author for you. She’s written some of my very favorite romance books, and as much as I’d love to list them all here, I’m sticking to a theme of MC romance. And no MC romance list of mine would be complete without Tack from Motorcycle Man and Shy from Own the Wind. These two books are from separate series; Motorcycle Man is book 4 in the Dream Man series (it’s the only MC book in that series), and Own The Wind is book 1 in a spin off MC series called Chaos. These two books are intertwined since Shy is first introduced in Tack’s book. Tack is the Chaos MC president.

Welcome to Sugartown by Carmen Jenner
I loved this book! I was not expecting it to be quite as gritty as it was and it had a crazy WTF moment, but it was one unputdownable read. Highly recommended for MC Romance fans.

Heaven’s Sinners is book two in Bella Jewel’s The MC Sinners series. All I will tell you here, is you’re going to want to get better acquainted with Spike’s spike. Uhem.

Angels in Leather by Bella Jewel

Angels In Leather is book 1 in the Bella Jewel’s Rebels on Bikes series. This was an incredible start to a very promising series. I’ve been highly anticipating the 2nd book in the series, but haven’t heard anything about it yet. Not sure if Bella plans to continue with this series, but I know I’ll be one clicking it the very second it’s released

Craving Constellations by Nicole Jacquelyn
Craving Constellations is the first book in Nicole Jacquelyn’s The Aces series. I read this by pure chance and then couldn’t believe I didn’t read it sooner. I haven’t had a chance to read the rest of the series yet, but it’s at the very top of my TBR.
