With each chapter, Meghan March sucks you deeper and deeper into Forge universe. I don’t think I ever want to leave. Where book one brought the cold, ruthless, and enigmatic man with plenty of secrets, this book begins to peel back the layers. You get more and more peeks into the events that made him into the man he is today. You also begin to get some pretty big revelations about what put India on his radar in the first place. I didn’t think it was possible to love this man any harder than I already did, but seeing him fall for India made me fall even harder for him.
India still continues to be one of my favorite heroines. The woman has sass for days and a pair of balls on her. I can’t get enough of her.
There are some pretty big revelations that happen in this book with plenty of plot twists that kept me eagerly turning the pages. But of course, in typical March fashion, she leaves you with more questions than answers at the end and salivating for the final installment to see how it all ends.
