Feature and Follow Friday

I have been a little behind in my game with these. But jumping back in with my second Feature and Follow. Yey!
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each week there is one blog featured by each host and a question to help us break the ice and open discussion.
How does this work?
First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers

Today’s Featured question is:

What book (or TV show or movie) have you not read that seemingly everyone else has?
Ok now don’t throw tomatoes, but The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer. I somewhat skimmed the first book, and it never really drew me in. Something about glittery vampires…Or it might have had to do that I had just finished watching True Blood, and it couldn’t compare. I had a friend try and make me watch the movie, but that was just painful. I couldn’t put myself through it. Something about Bella’s constant lip biting and hair twirling. GAH!
A few other book series everyone seems to talk about is The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare and The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. The one series that I keep meaning to read that I just can’t seem to get around to is The Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I have heard so many great things about it, that I really need to get my sh!t together and just read it finally.
As for shows, I feel like everyone I know has been telling me how AMAZING Breaking Bad is. I keep meaning to watch it, but can’t seem to find the time between all my books.

New followers, please leave me a comment so I know to follow back 😉

  1. I forgot about Jennifer L. Armentrout and Cassandra Clare. They've both become victims of my TBR mountain. Hopefully one day I'll rescue them and get the books read. Thanks for stopping by and I'm following you on Bloglovin'

  2. Tell me about it, I just ordered season one of Breaking Bad to see what the fuss is about. New GFC follower. My FF

    • You'll have to let me know how it was. I can never seem to get around to it. I mostly blame my current new-found addiction to Sons of Anarchy LOL. Maybe once on all the seasons there I can move on to Breaking Bad

  3. Thanks for stopping by.
Okay I almost fell out when I read Twilight Saga on your list. I will admit I am not a fan of Kristen S. same look ALL the time.

    • I just never really got into it. And she annoyed the crap out of me LOL. But something about glittery vamps just does not appeal to me. *shrugs*

  4. I've actually read all of these. most of them because I was forced to. My cousin talked me into twilight. I saw so many say how good the hunger games was but I thought it sounded horrible so I decided to read it just to see and found out it is a lot better than it sounds. and I just recently read the mortal instruments but I devoured it. You should definitely look into all of these!

    • Don't think I'll be reading Twilight. Doesn't appeal to me at all. But I have heard great things about Mortal Instruments, so I'll have to check it out. But Lux is at the top of my never ending TBR list 😉
